Swell Impact worked with Discover Halifax, the DMO for the Halifax Regional Municipality, to develop a comprehensive Sustainable Business Events toolkit. The kit included a Guide to Hosting Sustainable Business Events and a framework for their Sustainable Business Events Incentive Fund, which continues to grow.

Analysis of global best practices
Stakeholder engagement, including consultations and community sessions.
Development of the sustainable business events toolkit, including a guide to support event planners and the business events ecosystem in adopting and mobilizing sustainable practices.
Development of a framework for implementing an incentive fund for sustainable practices and legacy and impact initiatives demonstrating positive environmental, cultural and social impact in Halifax.
